Meghan Markle makes bombshell comment on mental health in new interview

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry just did their first interview together since 2021. They talked about their current project and backed it up.
The Duchess of Sussex was honest about why she chose to talk about her own battle with suicidal thoughts. This is still a very personal issue for her and is important to her advocacy work.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry talked to Jane Pauley of CBS Sunday Morning on Sunday about their new project to bring attention to the dangers that teens and young adults face on social media.

During the conversation, they talked about the work they did with parents whose children had sadly died because of the bad effects of cyberbullying.

Meghan talked about her interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021, in which she first talked about her mental health problems in public. She also talked about how important it is to be honest about these kinds of things.

Meghan told me, “I think there is a through-line when you’ve been through any level of pain or trauma.” “I think being able to tell the truth about it is a big part of our recovery, and it is very important for me.” And I haven’t even begun to talk about what I’ve been through. But I know that I would never want anyone else to feel that way, make those kinds of plans, or be doubted.

During her chat with Oprah, Meghan, who was pregnant with Princess Lilibet at the time, talked about a very upsetting event in which she went to the institution for help. „I went to the center and told them I had to get help somewhere else. She told him, “I’ve never felt this way before, and I need to go somewhere.” “They told me I couldn’t because it would be bad for the institution.”

In the CBS interview, Meghan stressed how important it was for her to talk about her experience, no matter how hard it might be. “So, if telling someone what I’ve been through will save them or encourage someone in their life to really just check in on them once a year and not assume that just because they look good, everything is fine, then that’s worth it,” she continued. “That’s okay with me.”

Their new project, The Parents’ Network, is part of their Archewell Foundation and aims to make people more aware of how dangerous social media can be for kids and adults. This test program is an important step toward big change for Harry and Meghan.

Since getting married in May 2018, Harry and Meghan have had two children. Prince Archie is five years old and Princess Lilibet is three. During the conversation, they talked about their “amazing” kids and how being parents affects their jobs.

Meghan said, “Our kids are young; they’re three and five.” “They are great.” As a parent, all you want to do is keep them safe. We see that there is a lot of work to be done when we look at what’s going on online, and we’re just glad to be a part of a good change.

Harry agreed with Meghan again about what it means to be a parent in this modern world. “Right now, almost every parent needs to be a first responder, and even the best first responders in the world wouldn’t be able to spot the signs of a possible suicide.” “That is the scariest thing about it,” he said.

Through The Parents’ Network and other projects, Harry and Meghan continue to fight for safer internet spaces by talking about their own experiences and how committed they are to their children’s future.
