Joe Manganiello is wasting no time moving forward with his new relationship with Caitlin O’Connor, following his divorce from ex-wife Sofia Vergara.
According to RadarOnline, Manganiello, 47, has taken the step of moving in with O’Connor, who is 34 years old.
This decision follows Manganiello’s divorce from Vergara, which was finalized in September of last year. The couple, once considered a Hollywood power duo, decided to part ways after seven years of marriage. Reports suggest that disagreements about starting a family played a significant role in their separation.
Allegedly, Manganiello desired to have children, whereas Vergara, 51, was not interested in expanding their family. The Modern Family actress already has a grown son from a previous marriage and reportedly did not wish to start over with motherhood.
Their divorce was announced in July 2023, and it was finalized later that September. In a joint statement, the former couple asked for privacy as they navigated this new phase of their lives.
It’s been reported that Manganiello and O’Connor were first linked romantically in November, following an after-party for Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty, in which O’Connor appears as Dyan Cannon.
Insiders cited by TMZ claim that Manganiello and O’Connor bonded over their shared Pittsburgh roots and are deeply in love despite their relatively short time together.
Manganiello’s decision to move in with O’Connor suggests that their relationship is serious. Meanwhile, Vergara is said to be dating Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Justin Saliman.
According to a source close to Vergara, she is enjoying her life and is not seeking a committed relationship. The source indicated that Vergara is unfazed by Manganiello’s relationship with O’Connor and that Manganiello and O’Connor are happily moving forward and discussing their future together.
