Keith Urban Spreads Christmas Cheer at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital

Keith Urban is bringing the spirit of giving to Nashville this holiday season.

The country superstar recently made a special visit to Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt — a nationally recognized pediatric facility known for its top-tier care in areas ranging from trauma and emergency services to cancer, cardiology, and its highly ranked NICU. The hospital regularly welcomes country artists, and Urban has become one of its most cherished guests.

During his visit, Urban spent time with young patients and their families, hosted an acoustic sing-along inside Seacrest Studios, answered questions, posed for photos, and surprised the hospital with donated guitars to support its music therapy program.

Meg Rush, MD, MMHC, president of Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital, expressed deep gratitude for his continued commitment:

“Keith is a wonderful friend to our hospital with several visits over the years,” she shared, noting that the staff is “truly grateful” for both his time and generosity.

The guitars Urban contributed will directly benefit the hospital’s music therapy efforts, which help children manage pain and anxiety, support developmental goals, and provide emotional comfort for both patients and their families.

A heartfelt gesture from one of country music’s biggest stars — and a holiday moment these kids won’t soon forget.
