Ella Langley & Riley Green Sweep the CMAs With “You Look Like You Love Me”

Ella Langley and Riley Green had an unforgettable night on November 19 as their breakout duet “You Look Like You Love Me” earned them three major CMA Awards at the 59th annual ceremony.

    The pair walked away with:

    Single of the Year

    Song of the Year

    Music Video of the Year

The triple win solidified both artists as two of the most electric forces in modern country music. Langley also took the stage for a captivating performance of her newest release, “Choosin’ Texas.”

Because the song is rooted in a real chapter of Langley’s life — capturing the early spark between two people from both perspectives — questions about her and Riley Green’s personal relationship have followed them from the moment the track exploded.

So, what’s really going on behind the scenes?

Ella Langley: Private, Rising Star — And Not Dating Riley Green

Ella Langley, who shot to fame in 2024 with her debut album Hungover, has kept her personal life largely under wraps. She appears to be single, or at least fiercely protective of her privacy. Her social media remains focused on music, touring, and major career moments.

That hasn’t stopped the rumor mill from running wild.

Earlier this year, a video of Ella playing “Honky Tonk Angels” sparked speculation when fans thought they spotted an engagement ring. Comments flooded in — until Ella shut it down with her trademark humor.

She posted a follow-up clip where someone hands her a ring box backstage. Laughing, she tried on the ring and said:

“That’s frightening — married to my job.”

She has directly denied dating Riley Green as well. Speaking to Taste of Country in September 2024, she said plainly:

“We’re not dating, we’re just friends.”

Riley Green’s Love Life & The Woman Sitting Beside Him at the CMAs

Riley Green has faced just as much curiosity about his personal life.

On CMA night, he was seen sitting next to influencer Bryana Ferringer, fueling ongoing talk that the two may be romantically involved. The pair had already been spotted together earlier in the year, including at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado.

Bryana — who previously dated country artist Tucker Wetmore — shared a backstage CMA photo on her Instagram, showing off her sleek backless gown with the caption:

“In love with my dress from last night.”

Riley hasn’t publicly confirmed a relationship, but like Ella, he has addressed the rumors surrounding their duet.

On Nick Viall’s Going Deeper with Riley Green podcast in late 2024, he joked:

“Ella’s probably too smart to date me anyway.”

He added that both artists knew the speculation would follow once the duet blew up:

“I told Ella early on — people are gonna talk. It just comes with a song like this. You can’t control it.”

The Truth About Ella & Riley: Friends, Collaborators, and Nothing More

Despite constant fan theories and viral TikTok speculation, both Langley and Green have repeatedly said the same thing: they are friends, co-creators, and nothing beyond that.

They also share a similar approach to fame — both fiercely private, both focused on the music, and both choosing to keep their romantic lives off the public stage.

Their undeniable chemistry comes from the studio and the story the song tells, not from a real-life romance.

In the end, the duo walked away from the CMA Awards as huge winners — and as two artists who managed to turn speculation into chart-topping success.
