Jason Aldean Announces New Album Songs About Us, Out This April
A Collection About Life’s Highs, Lows, and Everything in Between
Country superstar Jason Aldean has officially announced his next studio album, Songs About Us, set for release in April 2026. Revealed on Friday (November 7), Aldean says the project captures “the highs, the lows, and everything in between” — a reflection of both his personal journey and the shared experiences of his fans.
The 20-track album will feature a blend of heartfelt ballads and anthemic country-rock numbers, including the newly released “Hard To Love You,” “Lovin’ Me Too Long,” and “Help You Remember.”
For the first time ever, Jason also teams up with his wife Brittany Aldean for a duet — their debut single together — making this album one of his most personal releases to date.
“It means the world when one of my songs helps someone through a hard time—or celebrates their best moments,” Aldean shared. “This album is about all of that — the highs, the lows, and everything in between. Every track started with a real story or feeling, and together we turned those experiences into music. In the end, I realized this album is about all of us. These are songs about us.”
“Help You Remember” Shines a Light on Dementia
One of the album’s most powerful moments comes with “Help You Remember,” a song that hits close to home for both Jason and Brittany. The deeply emotional track draws from their real-life experience walking through a dementia diagnosis with Brittany’s father.
The song captures the pain and devotion of watching a loved one slip away while trying to hold onto every memory.
“The heart knows what’s hiding / Even when the mind can’t find it / Even if you don’t, I still ain’t gonna stop tryin’, yeah / To help you remember / What I’ll never forget.”
Brittany shared the track’s accompanying video on social media, pairing it with a heartfelt caption:
“Our journey with dementia ❤️🩹 The heartache that diseases like this bring to a family is something we know all too well. We hope this song brings comfort to anyone going through something similar 🙏🏼.”
The video features a touching montage of family clips — from Brittany’s childhood memories with her father to present-day moments filled with both love and heartache.
Turning Pain Into Purpose
In the post, Brittany described dementia as “the long goodbye,” opening up about the emotional toll of watching her father’s memory fade while encouraging families facing the same struggle to seek support and lean on their communities.
By including “Help You Remember” on Songs About Us, Jason and Brittany are using their platform to raise awareness and compassion for those affected by dementia — showing that even in life’s hardest moments, music can bring comfort and connection.
A Glimpse Into Jason Aldean’s Next Chapter

Whether it’s a rowdy anthem or a quiet reflection, Aldean’s latest album promises to remind fans why his music has always resonated so deeply: it’s honest, it’s relatable, and, as the title says, they’re all songs about us.
