Riley Green to Honor U.S. Service Members with Special Military Shows in Japan and Hawaii

A Veteran’s Day Announcement with Heart

Country hitmaker Riley Green is taking his music overseas in 2026 to pay tribute to America’s heroes. Announced fittingly on Veterans Day, the Alabama native revealed plans for three exclusive performances for U.S. service members and their families across Japan and Hawaii.

Hosted by Navy MWR Entertainment, the shows will be held at:

March 9, 2026 – US Navy Base Fleet Yokosuka, Kanagawa, Japan

March 10, 2026 – Naval Air Facility Atsugi, Japan

    March 22, 2026 – Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii

Access will be limited to those with CAC or authorized base entry, making the performances intimate celebrations for the nation’s military communities abroad.

Giving Back Through Music and Mission

Riley Green has long been vocal about his deep respect for veterans and active-duty personnel. His patriotism extends beyond the stage through his Buford Bonds Charitable Fund, launched in 2023.

The fund supports organizations such as Folds of Honor and other veteran-focused initiatives, raising money through events like the Buford Bonds Golf Tournament and the Folds of Honor Rock ‘N Jock Celebrity Softball Game.

Sharing the announcement on social media, Green expressed heartfelt gratitude:
“Honored to be able to perform for the heroic men and women of our nation next year at our U.S. Military bases in Japan and Hawaii. Happy Veterans Day to all who have served!”

A Busy Year Ahead: Cowboy As It Gets Tour

These military shows come just before the launch of Green’s massive 2026 headlining tour, Cowboy As It Gets, which will see him hit major arenas and amphitheaters across the U.S.

The tour includes stops in Nashville, Alpharetta, Cleveland, Saratoga Springs, Salt Lake City, and Hartford, among others. He’ll be joined by a rotating lineup of country favorites, including Justin Moore, Drake White, Mackenzie Carpenter, Adam Hood, Hannah McFarland, and Zach John King.

He’s also slated to appear at Stagecoach Festival 2026 in Indio, California — another highlight in what’s shaping up to be a milestone year.

A Year of Music, Momentum, and Meaning

2025 was already a career-defining chapter for Green. In between nonstop touring, he released Don’t Mind If I Do (Deluxe), an expanded edition of his acclaimed 2024 album featuring six new songs.

The project earned him four CMA Award nominations — Single of the Year, Song of the Year, Music Video of the Year, and Musical Event of the Year. Fans can find out if he takes home any trophies when the CMA Awards air on Wednesday, November 19 (8/7c on ABC, streaming next day on Hulu).

    Serving Those Who Serve

With these upcoming military performances, Riley Green once again proves that his brand of country music isn’t just about hits and headlines — it’s about heart. By bringing a taste of home to service members stationed thousands of miles away, Green continues to live out the values that define both his music and his mission: faith, gratitude, and giving back.
