Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia Reflects on Lowest Point a Year After Zach Bryan Split
A Relationship That Wouldn’t Leave the Headlines
The saga between Brianna LaPaglia (better known as Brianna “Chickenfry”) and Zach Bryan has lingered long past their breakup. From claims that Bryan offered her a $12 million NDA, to accusations of emotional abuse, to viral social media spats — the two have kept their names tied together in ways neither’s fanbase can quite ignore.
More recently, their feud resurfaced when Bryan posted a video of himself burning a Barstool Sports towel, clearly aimed at Brianna, who works for the company. She’s also publicly weighed in on Bryan’s new relationship with Samantha Leonard, whose resemblance to Brianna sparked even more chatter.
From Rock Bottom to Recovery
While the drama often dominates the headlines, Brianna shared a more personal reflection this week on TikTok. Speaking candidly to her followers, she revealed that exactly one year ago she was at what she calls “the lowest point of my life.”
At that time, she says she was:
Down to 100 pounds at 5’9” due to constant vomiting and an inability to eat.
“A shell of a human being,” unable to sleep or function.
Sobbing alone in her hotel rooms while on tour, even as she smiled for cameras.
“I thought it was permanent,” she admitted, explaining that her phone memories showed just how sunken and broken she looked then.
A Message of Hope
Now, Brianna says her life looks completely different. Filming from Europe, she described how she just had “the best week of my life” and is about to solo road trip the coast of Scotland.

Her message was aimed at fans who might feel stuck in their own struggles:
“Things get better. I promise. I promise you, it’s not gonna be forever. And I just love you. To anyone that’s feeling like me a year ago, oh my God. And to me a year ago, like, hug her. I wanna hug you guys. It gets better, I love you.”
Moving On — Finally?
Whether or not people like Brianna’s habit of revisiting her time with Zach Bryan, it’s clear she’s found perspective. Her reflection suggests that leaving the relationship behind may have been the best outcome for both of them.
Sometimes, healing isn’t about winning the online back-and-forth — it’s about being able to stand in a new place, look back, and say: I survived, and I grew.
