A Familiar Face on General Hospital
Bernard portrayed Terry Brock on the long-running ABC soap opera, appearing in 145 episodes between 1984 and 1990. Her character, remembered by fans of the era, was part of some of the show’s most dramatic storylines in the mid-to-late 1980s.
Her television credits also included Voices from the High School (2002), in which she played a psychologist, further showcasing her range as an actress beyond daytime television.
A Loss Felt in the Soap Community
Bernard’s passing comes not long after the General Hospital family mourned another beloved star, Jackie Zeman, who played Bobbie Spencer for nearly 50 years. At the time, tributes described Zeman as a “bright light” whose warmth and professionalism defined her work. Bernard, too, was remembered for her dedication to her craft and her lasting presence during an iconic chapter of the series.
