The Food Network star broke both good and bad news in a video that she posted to her Instagram page. “I received both positive and negative news,” Bertinelli informed her followers.
The good news is that brand-new episodes of Valerie’s Home Cooking’s 14th season will premiere on Food Network tomorrow at noon. It’s the last season, which is bad news. I don’t know why, but Food Network canceled us last summer. Furthermore, I kept quiet last summer in the sincere hope that they would reconsider. However, they haven’t. Therefore, this is the last season.
Hundreds of fans, including fellow food enthusiast Rae Drummond, better known as The Pioneer Woman, expressed their disappointment in the comments section that this would be the final season of her cherished cooking show. “Valerie, you are so loved! No matter where your career and life lead you, I will be watching every episode and savoring every moment,” Drummond wrote. “I appreciate you sharing so much of yourself over the years. I’m a lifelong Valerie B. fan, but I know I don’t need to say that.
This video was released after Bertinelli revealed more about the psychological and emotional abuse she experienced in a previous relationship, as well as how putting on a pair of pants caused a “hidden bruise” to reopen!
The celebrity chef acknowledged that she was “giggling because I had a small hidden bruise that was activated today” in an Instagram post that was shared on Super Bowl Sunday. “I think you can hear them because my pants are rubbing against each other and it makes this specific sound,” she continued. Since I was mercilessly made fun of and told, “I’m too lazy to do anything about it,” I stopped wearing them. She trailed off, “They wouldn’t rub together if you.”
