Gavin Adcock Laughs Off Stage Intruder as Security Goes Full UFC Mode in Wichita
Gavin Adcock’s shows are known for being rowdy, but his Wichita, Kansas stop on August 21 took things to another level when a fan jumped the barricade and stormed the stage.
Adcock, who had just paused to introduce his next song, stopped mid-sentence as the man rushed out from side stage. His security wasted no time—one guard tackled the intruder instantly, sparking a wild scuffle that took nearly six staff members to fully subdue.
The entire time, Adcock stayed cool, beer in one hand, mic in the other, barely flinching as chaos unfolded feet away. “You better stop,” he quipped into the mic, watching as security wrestled the man down. When the fan was finally hauled off, Adcock delivered the punchline:
“Get his drunk a** out of here!”
He later joked on social media, captioning the clip, “This is why we can’t have nice things.”
Fans React to Security’s Quick Moves
The video spread quickly online, with fans praising the takedown:
“Gavin’s protected better than the president 😂”
“That security needs a raise.”
“Looked like UFC Fight Night up there.”
Adcock himself later asked fans to send him the full footage, adding a reminder: “Y’all, don’t jump the barricade at country shows.”
Music First
Unbothered, Adcock carried on with “Last One To Know,” calling it his “wildest song.” The incident only added to the night’s energy, proving the rising star’s ability to roll with whatever comes his way.
@gavinadcockmusic It was crazy
The Kansas chaos came just days after Adcock celebrated the release of his sophomore album, Own Worst Enemy, with a floating album-listening party at Old Hickory Lake in Tennessee. The project has already racked up 41 million streams, following his breakout debut Actin’ Up Again.
On Tour Now
Adcock is currently headlining his Need To Tour, running through December with a final stop in Las Vegas. He’s also joining select dates on Morgan Wallen’s I’m The Problem Tour, bringing his mix of grit, humor, and high-energy storytelling to bigger stages than ever before.
