Riley Green Trades the Stage for the River on Beers On Me Tour Stop
Riley Green is proving that tour life isn’t all late nights and soundchecks — sometimes, it’s about soaking up the outdoors.
When the Beers On Me Tour rolled through Irvine, California on Friday (Aug. 20), the “I Wish Grandpas Never Died” singer slipped away from the FivePoint Amphitheatre and hit a nearby river for some tubing. Green, 32, shared the adventure on Instagram with a series of shirtless snapshots and a tongue-in-cheek caption: “It’s all business out here on the road. Sometimes it’s a struggle just to stay afloat.”
The post quickly drew laughs from his tourmates. Parker McCollum, known for his high-energy performances, commented: “I was running up a mountain during this. I gotta get my priorities in line.” Dierks Bentley was quick to chime in, adding: “@parkermccollum and I was playing pickle ball… wth.”
Clearly, the trio have built more than just a tour lineup — they’ve formed a friendship. Since kicking off the Beers On Me Tour in mid-August, Green, Bentley, and McCollum have been trading compliments and playful jabs online. Just hours after the river outing, Bentley posted to his Instagram Stories praising both of his younger tourmates. “You’ve had a hell of a year, Parker McCollum. Glad you’re out with us,” he wrote, before sharing a clip of Green performing with the note: “Riley Green’s going places, y’all.”
From tubing on the river to lighting up the stage, Riley Green is making sure this tour is equal parts business and fun — and fans are getting a front-row seat to both.
