💔 Vanna White’s Heartfelt Goodbye to Pat Sajak

On Thursday night’s episode—just before Pat Sajak’s final Wheel of Fortune show—co-host Vanna White shared a pre-recorded tribute that left viewers deeply moved. In the video, 67-year-old White, visibly emotional, marked the end of an era after more than four decades on air.

“I can’t believe tomorrow is our last show together,” she began, her voice filled with sincerity. “It’s hard to express what these past 41 years have meant to me, but I’m going to try.” She paused, acknowledging that their journey had spanned approximately 8,000 episodes—a milestone marked by laughter, dedication, and mutual support (Newsner English, skysbreath.com).

White reflected on the bond she and Sajak formed off-camera, noting that while their time on screen was iconic, their personal history held even deeper significance. “We’ve grown up in front of the cameras, and shared life’s milestones behind the scenes,” she shared, tears rising as she spoke (People.com).

Calling him “like a brother” and “a true lifelong friend,” she closed her message simply: “I love you, Pat”—a sentiment met then with a warm on-stage embrace between the two (Newsner English).

Sajak’s final syndicated episode aired on June 7, 2024, concluding a 41-season run and over 8,000 episodes. Although he stepped down from the regular show, he returned briefly to wrap up Celebrity Wheel of Fortune in June 2025. He remains involved as a consultant and continues his long-standing partnership with Vanna White while passing the hosting baton to Ryan Seacrest in September 2024 (AP News).
