    Wrestling Legend Hulk Hogan Passes Away at 71

    Hulk Hogan, the iconic WWE Hall of Famer and one of the most recognizable figures in professional wrestling history, has died at the age of 71.

    According to TMZ, emergency services responded to a call about a cardiac arrest at Hogan’s Clearwater, Florida home on Thursday, July 24. Paramedics reportedly transported him on a stretcher.

    Just weeks prior, Us Weekly had reported that Hogan underwent heart surgery, described as “serious” but successful. At the time, sources close to Hogan emphasized that it wasn’t a life-threatening situation. He was last seen in public on July 2, promoting his upcoming NYC venture, Hulk Hogan’s Slam Sports Bar.

    A Life That Inspired Millions
    Hogan, born Terry Bollea, helped usher wrestling into the mainstream during the 1980s and became a global pop culture icon. WWE released an official statement, saying:

    “WWE is saddened to learn WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has passed away. One of pop culture’s most recognizable figures, Hogan helped WWE achieve global recognition in the 1980s. WWE extends its condolences to Hogan’s family, friends, and fans.”
