Riley Green Pauses Show to Cheer the “Most Patriotic Baby” in the Crowd
Country music and heartfelt moments go hand-in-hand—and Riley Green delivered both in spades during a recent concert in Franklin, Tennessee.

In the middle of his high-energy cover of Toby Keith’s iconic “Courtesy Of The Red, White, And Blue (The Angry American),” Green stopped the music for something unexpected: a baby.

“I’ve gotta take a second,” Riley said, scanning the front rows. “We’ve got the most patriotic baby I’ve ever seen.”

Wearing protective headphones and wrapped in red, white, and blue, the infant was calmly taking in the show as fans erupted in applause.

“Hold that baby up again!” Green called out, clearly amused and charmed.
Then, with a smile, he declared: “That baby’s an American.”

The crowd responded instantly—breaking into a thunderous chant of:

    “U-S-A! U-S-A!”

With that, Green and his band launched right back into the Toby Keith classic, picking up on the lyric:

“’Cause we’ll put a boot in your a*, it’s the American way.”*

Toby Keith’s Patriotic Hit Returns to the Charts
More than 20 years after its debut, Toby Keith’s “Courtesy Of The Red, White, And Blue” is seeing a resurgence.

As of July 14, the song has re-entered the Billboard Hot 100, now sitting at No. 31—its first time on the chart since it originally peaked at No. 25 in 2002.

With contemporary stars like Riley Green breathing new life into these hits, it’s clear Toby Keith’s legacy is far from fading.
