The 2025 American Music Awards are shaping up to be the ultimate kickoff to summer, with an all-star lineup fans won’t want to miss.
On Thursday, May 15, CBS and Dick Clark Productions announced the slate of performers for this year’s AMAs, set to take place at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas. The list features a dynamic mix of genres and generations — promising something for everyone.
Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, Gloria Estefan, Benson Boone, Lainey Wilson, and Reneé Rapp are all scheduled to hit the stage, with performances ranging from career-spanning retrospectives to exciting new music debuts.
Shelton, 48, will perform a track from his latest album For Recreational Use Only, while his wife Stefani, 55, is gearing up for a medley celebrating the 20th anniversary of her iconic solo debut Love.Angel.Music.Baby., plus a song from her 2024 release Bouquet.
Estefan, 67, will return to the AMAs stage for the first time in over 30 years to deliver a medley of hits that span her legendary five-decade career.
Fresh off the European leg of her Whirlwind Tour and ahead of a U.S. run, Wilson, 32, will also perform, as will Rapp, 25, who’s set to unveil new music from her highly anticipated second album.
Hosting duties this year will be handled by Jennifer Lopez, marking her return as emcee a decade after she last hosted the show.
Janet Jackson will be honored with the ICON Award, recognizing her undeniable cultural impact on the music industry. She’ll also take the stage for a special performance — her first televised appearance since 2018.
The 2025 AMAs will take place on Memorial Day, May 26, and will also shine a spotlight on America’s veterans. In partnership with the Easy Day Foundation, a Las Vegas nonprofit supporting veterans’ transitions to civilian life, the event will feature special segments to honor their service and raise funds for related causes.
Two tribute performances and the presentation of a special award for a high-profile figure making a difference in the veteran community will be part of this year’s show.
The 2025 American Music Awards will air live on Monday, May 26 at 8 p.m. EST on CBS and stream on Paramount+.
