Jelly Roll Says “I’m a Pig!” in Hilarious Red Carpet Moment at ACM Awards

The ACM Awards red carpet is always filled with Western flair—cowboy hats, fringe, and even the occasional pair of leather chaps. But on Thursday, May 8, at the 60th ACM Awards, the country vibe came with an unexpected dash of farmyard fun.

While chatting with Country Now, Jelly Roll was asked if he planned to add any new animals to his growing farm. His response? Classic Jelly Roll humor:

“Jessie Murph just tried to give Bunnie a pig on the red carpet!”

Bunnie XO—Jelly Roll’s wife since 2016—was approached by singer-songwriter Jessie Murph, who came to the event with an actual piglet in tow.

The pig, adorably named Wilbur (a nod to Charlotte’s Web), instantly captured attention. Jessie Murph even shared photos of herself and her “date” on Instagram, including outfit inspiration from none other than Priscilla Presley.

Back on the red carpet, Jelly Roll continued:

“Jessie Murph has got a pig here, and she’s been chasing Bunnie around with it—and Bunnie wants to take the pig!”

But Jelly Roll wasn’t so enthusiastic.

“We already have three pigs. I didn’t even want the first three. She’s already got a pig—I’M a pig!”

Despite the laughs, Jelly Roll has spoken seriously about what owning a farm means to him. In a recent TikTok, he shared through tears:

“My wife and I, we purchased over 500 acres. I was never brave enough to dream that I would be here like this today.”

For a man who’s turned his life around and now enjoys peaceful days with animals and family on their Tennessee property, even a pig named Wilbur can’t outshine the joy of a dream realized.
