    • “Father, I still hear your laughter in the wind, and I still see you in the softest of lights…” – from the darkness of loss, Craig Morgan sang like a call echoing through time. After “the SUDDEN death of his son Jerry” – he did not seek the noise of the stage but returned to faith, and from the deepest place in his broken heart, “The Father, My Son, and the Holy Ghost” was born. The first time Craig performed the song at the Grand Ole Opry, the whole audience fell silent and then burst into tears, including Ricky Skaggs – who came to hug him and said: “You must sing again, because THE WORLD NEEDS TO HEAR this.” And the most touching moment was when Blake Shelton – Craig’s “close friend” – suddenly walked to the center of the stage, holding Craig’s hand in silence. A scene that made the country people EXPLODE.

Cole Swindell and Lainey Wilson Light Up CMA Fest 2024 with Electrifying “Never Say Never” Performance
Downtown Nashville was absolutely buzzing as Cole Swindell and Lainey Wilson took the stage at CMA Fest for a powerhouse performance of their hit duet Never Say Never. Their undeniable chemistry and soaring vocals had the crowd completely captivated, proving once again why they are two of country music’s brightest stars.

    A Fan-Favorite Brought to Life
Never Say Never, featured on Swindell’s fourth studio album Stereotype, has been a fan favorite since its release in late 2021. The song made an immediate impact, becoming the most-added song on country radio upon debut — a major milestone for both artists.

Written by Swindell, Jessi Alexander, and Chase McGill, the emotional ballad explores the irresistible pull between two people who just can’t stay away from each other:

🎶 “I never say never with you / I end up together with you / It’s hell and it’s heaven with you, baby…” 🎶

On the CMA Fest stage, Swindell and Wilson brought the lyrics to life with breathtaking passion, leaving the audience cheering long after the final note.

A Standout Moment at CMA Fest 2024
CMA Fest 2024, celebrating its 49th year, was hosted with flair by Dierks Bentley and Elle King. “Elle is a riot on stage and so talented,” Bentley shared. King added, “Not only do I get to do it with my buddy Dierks, but I also get to see these incredible performances and be part of a big party!”

The four-day festival at Nissan Stadium delivered over 30 unforgettable performances, featuring country superstars like Jason Aldean, Kelsea Ballerini, Kane Brown, Luke Bryan, Carrie Underwood, and many more.

But even among such star power, Swindell and Wilson’s performance of Never Say Never stood out as one of the evening’s most electric moments — a perfect blend of vocal strength, emotional storytelling, and true country spirit.

    More Hits, More Highlights
Swindell also thrilled fans with a live performance of his smash She Had Me at Heads Carolina, showing that his streak of chart-topping hits shows no signs of slowing down.

Meanwhile, Wilson, who continues her meteoric rise with hits like Watermelon Moonshine and Wildflowers and Wild Horses, once again proved why she’s one of the genre’s most in-demand performers.

    A Defining CMA Fest Moment
For those lucky enough to be in the audience — and for the millions catching the clips online — it’s clear: the musical magic between Cole Swindell and Lainey Wilson is something special.

Their CMA Fest 2024 performance wasn’t just a highlight of the night — it was a defining moment of the festival itself, reminding everyone why country music is all about storytelling, passion, and connection.
