Duo Stardust’s Jaw-Dropping Aerial Rollerskating Wins Golden Buzzer on Britain’s Got Talent
Aerial rollerskating isn’t new to Britain’s Got Talent, but when Ukrainian couple Duo Stardust hit the Season 17 stage, they took the concept to a whole new level — leaving judges and audience members alike holding their breath in awe.
With a ripple of nervous laughter in the air, Vlada Kamyshnikova and Yevhenii Yemelianenko took their places atop a small circular platform. Dressed in angelic white skates, they launched into a dizzying display of strength and grace, with Yevhenii spinning rapidly while lifting Vlada by just her wrist and ankle, making her soar like a human propeller — powerful and breathtakingly elegant all at once.
Their routine escalated quickly, featuring a one-handed lift that sent gasps rippling through the crowd. Vlada, suspended upside down mid-spin, twirled like an ethereal ballerina against the forces of gravity. Each move seemed to defy physics, yet the couple executed them with an effortless beauty that was utterly hypnotic.
The final trick raised the stakes even higher: Yevhenii fastened a harness around his neck, with Vlada securing herself using only her face. As firework sparklers exploded from her skates, Yevhenii lifted into the air by his arms while Vlada spun around him at dizzying, near-supersonic speeds. The sight had judge Bruno Tonioli leaping to his feet, hands clasped in disbelief.
A Golden Buzzer Moment for the Ages
Their performance earned rapturous praise from all four judges. Alesha Dixon called it “sensational,” while Bruno gushed, “It was so spectacular, so thrilling. Perfection.” But the crowd wasn’t done — chanting for Simon Cowell to smash the Golden Buzzer. Even though all Golden Buzzers had technically been used this season, Simon couldn’t resist, sending golden confetti raining down on Duo Stardust in a magical, unforgettable moment that has already racked up hundreds of thousands of views on YouTube.
A Story Beyond the Stage
This wasn’t Duo Stardust’s first time mesmerizing TV audiences. Before BGT, they stunned judges and viewers alike on Lithuania’s Got Talent and reached the finals of Ukraine’s Got Talent in 2021.
Their journey, however, is about more than fame. Inspired by Billy and Emily England — the aerial rollerskating semi-finalists from BGT’s Season 9 — Vlada and Yevhenii took up the artform not just as performers, but as passionate messengers. As Yevhenii shared with The Mirror, “Britain’s Got Talent is a platform where we can help keep Ukraine in people’s hearts and minds. We still need help. We’re still living through horror. And it’s important people don’t forget.”
For Duo Stardust, the glittering golden confetti wasn’t just a celebration of talent — it was a symbol of hope, resilience, and the power of remembering.
