Princes William and Harry, estranged by years of distance and duty, reunited for the first and only time this year—not for diplomacy, but for love. It was their mother’s 63rd birthday, and they chose to honor her not with speeches or ceremony, but with something far more personal: silence, song, and memory. Inside a quiet London hotel suite, with only a piano and a flickering candle between them, the brothers shared stories, laughter, and finally, a trembling duet of the song they once sang for Diana as children. Staff standing nearby were said to be frozen by emotion—some sobbing silently—as the future king and his brother, stripped of status, became only sons again. When the final note faded, Harry turned to William and whispered, “She would’ve loved this,” to which William replied, “She never left.” And in that moment, every heart in the room broke—and began to heal.

Tom Cruise has had his share of high-profile relationships, but when he was recently seen spending time with actress Ana de Armas, the rumor mill went into overdrive. Are they really a couple, romantically speaking?

The speculation has sparked widespread conversation. Just as it seemed like the mystery might be solved, a source has revealed the real reason behind their frequent appearances together— and it might not be what you’d expect…

    Spotted Together on Valentine’s Day
Tom Cruise, 61, and Cuban-born actress Ana de Armas, 35, were spotted in London twice in recent months, fueling rumors of a possible romance. This followed a dinner outing in Soho on Valentine’s Day, where the two were seen together.

Reports indicated they dined at a London restaurant before sharing a taxi ride.

At the time, an insider told People that the dinner was just a work-related gathering with their agents, discussing “potential collaborations down the line,” and added that there didn’t appear to be any romantic connection— just two friends.

    A Recent Sightings
On March 14, the pair were spotted arriving together at the London Heliport after spending the day at Longcross Studios. Tom appeared cheerful, flashing a wide smile as he walked alongside Ana, dressed casually in black jeans and a brown shirt, while Ana sported a white top, jeans, and a long black coat.

    Her Past Relationships
Ana de Armas was later approached by Spanish media in Madrid and asked whether her time with Tom was personal or professional. She declined to answer. While neither actor has commented on the nature of their relationship, in 2022, Ana made it clear that she doesn’t appreciate the public’s interest in her personal life: “I’ve never been someone who wants attention that’s not about my work. It feels disrespectful and unsafe,” she told Variety.

Ana, born in Havana on April 30, 1988, gained Hollywood recognition with her role as Joi in Blade Runner 2049, but it was her breakthrough performance as Marta in Knives Out (2019) that earned her widespread acclaim. Her personal life has also been under the media’s microscope; she was previously married to Spanish actor Marc Clotet from 2011 to 2013 and later dated Ben Affleck in 2019 after meeting on the set of Deep Water.

    Strictly Professional?
Tom Cruise has been in the UK for months, working on a project with Oscar-winning director Alejandro G. Iñárritu. The film, titled Judy, stars Cruise as a powerful figure on a mission to save humanity, with a release set for October 2026.

Meanwhile, Ana de Armas is busy with her own upcoming projects. So, does romance have a place between these two busy actors? It seems not— at least not for now.

Sources close to the stars suggest that their relationship is strictly professional. Daily Mail also reports that their connection is centered on work, aligning with earlier statements from People sources.

However, insiders reveal that Tom may have another motive for getting closer to Ana. With the success of Top Gun: Maverick, Cruise is rumored to be pursuing a sequel to the 90s classic Days of Thunder, and Ana could play a key role in his upcoming ventures. According to the Daily Mail, Tom admires Ana’s work and always looks to collaborate with top talent.

A Sequel to Days of Thunder?
Tom Cruise is reportedly interested in seeing if they have chemistry for potential future projects. “Everything between Tom and Ana is innocent,” the source told Daily Mail, adding, “They are spending time together to discuss future collaborations.”

One such project could be a Days of Thunder sequel, which is still in its early stages. “Tom is talking to Paramount about it, but the script will dictate when it comes together,” the insider revealed.

A sequel to Days of Thunder is a natural move for Tom, whose recent hits seem to turn to gold. While the original film didn’t initially perform well, it has since become a cult classic, and it holds special significance for Cruise, as it was on that set that he fell in love with co-star Nicole Kidman.

As Cruise looks to revisit his Days of Thunder legacy and pursue exciting new projects, Ana de Armas could be joining him. With her rising star and Tom’s knack for assembling top talent, their professional collaboration may be just around the corner.

This could be the beginning of a partnership that makes waves, both professionally and creatively.
