Family members, concerned after not hearing from her, went to check on her residence. They found the house locked, and upon entry, discovered her inside. Emergency responders arrived shortly after 10 p.m., but Pamela was pronounced dead at the scene from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. No suicide note was found.

Born on October 16, 1963, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Pamela built a successful career in television and film. She was best known for playing Kaye Morgan on Baywatch in the 1990s and also appeared in The Fall Guy, T.J. Hooker, The Young and the Restless, and Knight Rider. She later starred in films such as Castle Rock and Mansion of Blood.
Pamela married David Hasselhoff in 1989, and they had two daughters before divorcing in 2006 after a long legal battle. Despite their separation, family remained at the center of her life.
