The pilot died when the plane crashed into another at the airport, but the rock star and his girlfriend survived.

Authorities say Mötley Crüe singer Vince Neil’s private jet crashed with another aircraft while landing at an Arizona airport on Monday afternoon, killing one and injuring four.

On February 10, Vince Neil’s Learjet 35A lost control on the runway and hit a parked Gulfstream 200 business jet at Scottsdale Airport, according to the FAA.

The plane left Austin, Texas, with two pilots and two passengers. According to his representative, Worrick Robinson, Mötley Crüe frontman Vince Neil declined.

The airport was closed after the dramatic collision was filmed. First responders gather around two destroyed planes on the runway, according to social media posts.

By 6 p.m. local time, Scottsdale Fire Capt. Dave Folio reported one person dead at the site and still in the wreckage. Two people were sent to trauma centers, while another was stabilized at a local hospital. A fourth person refused treatment.

“On behalf of the city of Scottsdale, we offer our deepest condolences to those involved in the accident and for those who have been taken to our trauma center for treatment,” Scottsdale Mayor Lisa Borowsky stated. “We pray for all affected by this tragedy.”

    Vince Neil’s girlfriend joined.
On Monday, TMZ said that Vince Neil’s 64-year-old partner, Rain Andreani, 43, and her companion Ashley survived the crash and were transferred to a local hospital.

Andreani had five broken ribs, but the women’s dogs were unscathed, sources informed the publication.

Mötley Crüe posted on their official X/Twitter page: “While details are still emerging, our hearts go out to the families of the pilot who died and the passengers who were injured. Look for Mötley Crüe to unveil a means to help the pilot’s family soon.”

Airport officials spoke on X about the crash while investigators investigate. “Our thoughts are with everyone that has been impacted by this tragic event,” the statement said.

This accident is one of several US aviation tragedies. A midair accident between an American Airlines passenger jet and a U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopter in Washington, D.C., killed 67. Another Philadelphia medical plane crash killed seven.

The Bering Sea crash of a small plane was also confirmed. After a lengthy search, the 10-person Cessna 208B Grand Caravan was found near Nome.
