In connection with a large smuggling operation that reportedly utilized the Ports of Los Angeles, federal officials have brought eight individuals into custody.

For the purpose of bringing illegal and counterfeit goods into the United States from China, Angeles and Long Beach are being used.

It is anticipated that dishonest truck drivers, warehouse owners, and logistics companies were involved in the operation, which resulted in the illegal transportation of commodities worth at least two hundred million dollars.

An additional defendant, who is thought to be in China, is still at large and is suspected to be the principal orchestrator. There are a number of violations that the defendants are suspected of committing, including breaking customs seals, smuggling, and conspiracy.
