    6. Early Education and a Modeling Career
    Melania studied architecture and design at the University of Ljubljana, but she left after only a year to move to Milan. At sixteen, Melania Knavs began modeling, primarily in Paris and Milan, where she found considerable success. Her work was published in magazines such as Sports Illustrated, Vanity Fair, Vogue, and Harper’s Bazaar. Melania is also the first First Lady to be featured in a magazine photo in a nude state.
