    Mel Gibson has been subjected to criticism from users of social media platforms after he discussed a conspiracy theory on live television in relation to the wildfires that occurred in Los Angeles State.

    The actor, who is 69 years old, disclosed over the weekend that he had lost his home in Malibu to the fire. The residence had been destroyed by the flames when he was a guest on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast.

    During an appearance on Elizabeth Vargas Reports on NewsNation, Gibson disclosed that he was in Austin, Texas, when he discovered that his multi-million dollar property had been “completely toasted.” He went on to describe the loss as “devastating” and “emotional.”The statement made by Gibson was, “I’ve never seen such a complete burn.” It is undeniably heartbreaking, and it feels quite emotional.
