Noah Woods, who was only five years old at the time, bravely rescued his family from an electrical fire on February 9, 2020. The fire was caused by an electrical malfunction.
Noah hurriedly grabbed his sister Lilly, who was only two years old, and escaped out of the house through the window when he awoke to find flames breaking out in his bedroom. Lilly was the only child in the family.
Immediately after that, he made a beeline for his uncle’s house in order to seek assistance from him.
It was due of his activities that the rest of the family was informed, and all nine members of the family were able to leave the house without sustaining any injuries from the situation.
Noah was the only one to sustain a minor burn on his wrist as a result of the explosion; nevertheless, no one else was hurt in the incident.
In addition to the honorary fireman title that they had previously bestowed upon him, the Bartow County Fire Department offered him a Lifesaving Award as a token of their appreciation for the service that he had rendered.
A GoFundMe campaign was initiated in order to provide financial support to the family while they recover from the calamity that occurred as a result of the fire, which caused the family’s home to be completely destroyed.
Because of Noah’s rapid thinking, there is a good chance that they were able to avoid dying. This is a substantial likelihood.
