We’ve covered those who’ll do anything for their dream look.

Sahar Tabar from Teheran has gone further.

In 2017, Iranian Instagrammer Sahar Tabar went viral after posting photos of herself. Shahar published photographs that were unlike anything you see online, shocking many.

According to Turkish media, she’s had over 50 plastic procedures and shed 90 pounds to achieve her desired look.

Sahar kept over 400,000 Instagram followers updated on her development.

After becoming renowned, a local newspaper reported that Sahar Tabar simply wanted to appear like Angelina Jolie.

Sahar, real name Fatemah Khishvand, says it was never her goal. It was not her goal to appear like Angelina Jolie. Some believed Sahar resembled Emily the Corpse Bride from Tim Burton’s stop-motion film.

“I did not want to look like Angelina Jolie or the “Corpse Bride” character. I know we have some similarities, but I’m my own inspiration and don’t want to look like anyone. That wasn’t my goal,” Sahar told Sputnik News 2017.

Sahar stated she enjoyed makeup and picture editing and considered her photos art. She has had Rhinoplasty, liposuction, and Botox.

Plastic surgery is booming in Iran, which has the highest nose surgery rate. Cosmetic surgery has been popular with young Iranians for decades, so Sahar, who wanted fame, turned to it. Even though her mom loathed it, Sahar kept expanding her Instagram fame.

“I see no harm here. Many individuals worldwide do it since it’s easy. One procedure costs 10 million Iranian rials ($283) in Tehran, Sahar claimed.

Her following expanded as she shared violent photos. Finally, major international media covered her tale, making Sahar famous in her home country.

“People react normally when I visit the city. I’m recognized, called, talked to, and hugged. I feel supported and not criticized, she noted in 2017.

Some thought Sahar had overdone her makeover. She looked better before all the surgery, said many.

Acceptance from my family and God is most essential to me. Those are enough for me. International opinions are unimportant; I dismiss their criticism, Sahar said.

However, the Iranian leadership and parliamentarians were less happy with Sahar and her famous position.

In October 2019, she was arrested and tried. She faced “corruption” and “blasphemy” charges when her Instagram account was removed. In December 2020, she was jailed for 10 years.

Masih Alinejad, an Iranian human rights activist, requested assistance.

Sahar Tabar is 19. She was jailed for her joke.

“Her mother cries daily for her innocent daughter’s release. We need Angelina Jolie’s voice. Help us.”

Then something unexpected happened. Prisoner Sahar was released after 14 months. Protests against Mahsa Amini’s killing are raging in Iran. The regime may have released Sahar earlier because of that. The judge agreed to convert the arrest warrant to bail, said Sahar.

Sahar’s Instagram account, @sahartabar_official, is deactivated, although other accounts publish old and fresh photos of her.

Sahar appeared on TV with her real look after her release from jail. She admitted to various cosmetic treatments but stated many of her renowned photographs were fabricated with Photoshop and makeup.

I don’t judge people. People can be and appear whichever they wish.

Sahar’s case seems to involve more than just some eyebrow-raising images, and I hope she’s out of trouble for them!
