On July 22, 2022, Kiena Dawes, a mother who was 23 years old and from Fleetwood, Lancashire, cruelly took her own life.

The moment before she passed away, she took her daughter, who was nine months old at the time, to the residence of a friend. After that, she proceeded to a nearby railway track and committed suicide there.

Her phone had a farewell letter.
British Transport Police were the ones who discovered the body of Kiena Dawes.

A terrible farewell note was found on Kiena’s phone after her passing, which revealed the anguish that she had been going through, and it was discovered after her death. The letter was written by Kiena, who claimed that her former partner was responsible for the destruction of her life and that his violent behavior was a crucial factor in her choice to quit the relationship.

The ex-boyfriend, who is 23 years old, allegedly “murdered slowly,” according to the woman.

“It’s over. I battled so hard and for such a long time. My suffering was beyond anyone’s ability to comprehend. I was killed by a murderer. I was murdered by [my ex]. He obliterated every last bit of strength that I have. My actions did not merit this. I have high hopes that the police will act more quickly in order to save another person’s life. “Don’t give bullies the freedom to live their lives,” she wrote, as reported by Metro.

    Letter addressed to her daughter
Furthermore, she conveyed to her daughter a farewell message, which said, “I am sorry that I let you leave… My heart is broken that I had to leave. On me, the entire world has turned its back. When I was strong. Dreams came to me. In the past, I had a future. I was deprived of receiving it.

The former spouse of Kiena was accused of controlling behavior and abuse, and the prosecution contends that this aggressive treatment was a contributing factor in the unfortunate occurrence of her death.

The claims of physical abuse that were made against her during the summer of 2022 resulted in the issuance of a restraining order against herself. However, according to the prosecution, he breached the order by making contact with Kiena and threatening her.

A post was made on Facebook.
It has been stated that Kiena called the police in response to the situation; but, according to Kynan, her brother, the authorities did not take her worries seriously. There was a snapshot of Kiena’s bandaged head, a noticeable head injury, and images of bruises on her arm that were included in a post that she made on Facebook the next day.

“She was told by the police to take it down,” Kynan stated while he was testifying as a witness. Her goal was to bring attention to the fact that a woman was being abused by another person. She had the intention of exposing herself to the world, but the very individuals who are tasked with safeguarding women and acting as their final line of defense advised her to take those steps away.

After only two weeks had passed, Kiena’s body was discovered.

    These are the charges
An evaluation revealed that Kiena was suffering from Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (EUPD), which is more frequently referred to as borderline personality disorder. Extreme emotional swings can be brought on by this illness, which frequently makes it challenging for individuals to control their feelings in a healthy manner.

It is the contention of the prosecution that Kiena’s former boyfriend took advantage of her vulnerabilities, which ultimately resulted in the deterioration of her mental and emotional healthcare. He is being charged with homicide, coercive control, and actual bodily harm (ABH), which stands for actual bodily harm. He rejects each and every accusation. This trial is still going on.
