Melania and Donald will return to the White House in January, but it’s unknown how long. According to reports, the next First Lady won’t live in the White House full-time, but Donald may have a new closest buddy.
Sources say tech entrepreneur Elon Musk worked closely with Trump throughout the presidential campaign and has worked his way into the family. Musk was recently appointed to Trump’s administration, and his financial support helped him win the election.
The amount of time Elon has spent with Melania’s husband suggests that their connection is at least functioning. Melania just confessed her genuine emotions for Space X and Tesla CEO.
The election result means Melania Trump will return to the White House with her husband, even if People Magazine’s insiders say it’s ‘unlikely’ she’ll reside there full-time.
A Trump family insider said, “If Melania becomes first lady again, of course people expect her to move into the White House and perform appropriate duties,” adding that Melania doesn’t want to move to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
“She will have her private living apartment there, as well as her New York and Palm Beach homes. She will visit all these places.”

Mary Jordan, author of The Art of Her Deal: The Untold Story of Melania Trump, told ABC: “She has told people, ‘Look, I’m not the one elected.’ Go to Mar-a-Lago and spend two weeks alone if she wants. But she will be in the White House. She enjoys pomp and circumstance.”
Sources tell CNN that Melania will mostly live in Trump Tower in New York to be close to her son Barron, who recently enrolled at New York University. She will also visit Mar-a-Laga in Palm Beach, Florida, the news agency reported.
“She has carte blanche – she can be as active in the East Wing or as inactive as she cares to be,” Free, Melania author Kate Bennett told CNN.
Bennett added that Melania has not used the past four years to establish her own platform like Laura Bush and Michelle Obama.
The former CNN White House correspondent said first ladies “can retreat into relative privacy, but they still maintain the platform agenda they established.” That divide is huge. She deserves solitude, but we must ask how much she didn’t exploit her global recognition.

Elon has not addressed the allegations. However, Trump-Vance transition spokesman Karoline Leavitt called them “great friends.”
