Harry and Meghan Markle have taken up residence in sunny California. After a brief sojourn in Canada, the couple went to their $14 million property and are reportedly planning to stay there forever.

Harry may face deportation if he misled on his visa application, according to former President Donald Trump.

The Sussexes may be unaffected if Kamala Harris defeats Donald Trump. Harry and Meghan may have a backup plan if Trump wins.

US elections are coming up in weeks. As with any presidential election, it’s a big deal for the world, but especially for Americans hoping for a better future.

Troubled past of the Sussexes and Trump
Some may experience significant changes in their US status after the election. Donald Trump has promised to close the southern border and prioritize immigration if he wins. He also promised the largest mass deportation of undocumented migrants in US history, although other groups may be deported too.

Prince Harry has also been threatened with deportation by the previous president, and their relationship is reportedly strained.

It started in 2019 when Trump visited the UK. He met with then-Prince Charles and Queen Elizabeth II during the trip.

Meghan Markle-related tensions have developed before the UK visit. Meghan called Trump “misogynistic” and “divisive” on The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore in 2016, during his presidential campaign. She promised to vote for Hillary Clinton, his opponent.

Meghan had recently given birth to Archie during Donald’s UK tour. Her maternity leave prevented her from attending the state visit.

Donald Trump labeled Meghan Markle “nasty”
Other stories stated that she and Trump were kept separate to avoid an awkward confrontation, especially given what Trump said before landing in the UK.

Donald calling Meghan nasty hurt her and Prince Harry. Harry and Trump were set to attend a lunch together, making this important.

Harry probably wasn’t happy with what the former real estate billionaire said about his wife, but royal analyst Victoria Arbiter said he was expected to “toe the line” around the US President because being a British royal means being politically neutral.

“The Royal Family will act responsibly. Prince Harry will have a private lunch with the Queen on Monday with Donald Trump and the First Lady, which will be unpleasant. He will put on his best charm because that’s what he’s been taught and trained to do, Arbiter told the Express.

Trump also dislikes Harry, as shown. If he wins the presidency, the former president might threaten the estranged prince’s US future.

The Heritage Foundation sued DHS last year for Harry’s immigration records. Applicants for some American visas must state whether they have taken drugs, which could deny their application.

Did Prince Harry lie about drug use on his US visa?
Harry admitted to using cocaine, marijuana, and magic mushrooms in his Spare biography.

Harry also acknowledged to lying about consuming cocaine as a teenager. His drug use was justified by his grief after Princess Diana’s death.

“Of course…I was using cocaine at the time…I had been offered a line and had done several since. A miserable 17-year-old lad, I would try virtually everything to change the current quo. It was what I told myself anyway, Harry wrote in Spare.

He said psychedelics helped him “escape reality for a while.”

“All great seers and philosophers say daily life is an illusion. Always felt that was true. After eating a mushroom or taking ayahuasca, it was comforting to feel it for myself, he said.

The Heritage Foundation explained why they sued DHS for Harry’s immigration records.

Harry has confessed to heavy drug use. We propose this means? That Harry seems to have received preferential treatment: DHS glanced the other way if the prince replied truthfully or lied on his visa application. It said any action was wrong.

    Trump threatens Prince Harry deportation.
The federal courts reviewed Prince Harry’s visa application, but a judge concluded it should stay confidential in September. Whether Donald Trump wins the election and can do something about Harry possibly lying on his Visa application is unknown.

The former president has also stated that the prince may be deported if he lied about his drug use on his visa application.

“We’ll have to see if they know something about the drugs, and if he lied they’ll have to take appropriate action,” Trump told GB News in March.

Trump stated a month earlier that he “wouldn’t protect” Harry if he won the 2024 presidential election.

“I wouldn’t guard him. He deceived Queen. That’s unacceptable. According to the Express, Trump said the Royal Family was “too gracious” to Harry after “what he has done.”

Harry is not a US citizen but has contemplated it. He told ABC News that applying for citizenship had crossed his mind but was “certainly not” a priority.

Unfortunately, a royal specialist believes the prince regrets writing about his drug usage in his memoir.

Meghan Markle “does her best to support Harry”
In July, royal expert Tom Quinn told the Mirror that Harry hoped to be spared the revelations.

Harry assumed this couldn’t happen to him because the regulations don’t apply to a Royal royal, but he’s discovering that in the US, being a royal doesn’t matter much. Harry regrets disclosing his drug use. Quinn claimed he never considered that this could endanger his life plan.

“He finds the day long and lonely,” he said. Meghan supports Harry, but she is in her own habitat and he is in a weird unfamiliar world that grows progressively unfriendly.”

The royal expert said Harry and Meghan have sought legal guidance over his Spare confessions. The Sussexes worry about their US residency if Trump wins.

Quinn concluded, “The couple have taken legal advice because they’re seriously worried that if Donald Trump wins the next election Harry’s visa may be revoked.” Trump has threatened to expel Harry if he lies on his visa application about his drug use.

They must act now that Prince Harry may be deported.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as a “backup plan” if Trump wins.
As per royal expert Hugo Vickers, Harry is on thin ice with Trump and has sought a “backup plan.”

Knowing Trump’s character, he’ll certainly want to slam the fist on the table and assert his dominance. And something that would generate a lot of press,” Vickers told The Sun.

“So I wouldn’t be surprised if he suddenly said, ‘Right, I’m sending Prince Harry out of this country.’ He may use because Prince Harry has acknowledged to smoking marijuana, cocaine, and magic mushrooms and may not have disclosed that on his visa application.

The royal expert added that Trump’s “reasoning” for excluding them may be his and Meghan Markle’s terrible history.

In the past, Meghan and Prince Harry have been disrespectful to him. Trump left England after visiting the Queen saying she thought he was her favorite president. His line has been that he resents Prince Harry for causing the Queen so much anguish in her last two years, Vickers said.

Trump has publicly said he won’t forgive Harry. Trump likely thinks, ‘I got on well with the Queen’, as he did, and ‘I would like to respect her memory by tossing him out.’

Vickers said, “He doesn’t really follow the rules. Harry would stump the table and tell someone to fix or investigate how you do these things to escape. That’s his nature.”

The son of Donald Trump called Prince Harry and Meghan Markle “spoiled”.
Other Trump family members seem to dislike Harry and Meghan. In August, Eric Trump called the Sussexes “spoiled” apples and praised the monarchy to GB News.

What I can tell you is my father and I have great regard for the queen,” he said. “My mom [the late Ivana Trump] knew so many of them for years, I think you probably know that, had a great relationship with Diana and everyone else,” Eric Trump told Newsweek.

“That’s a sacred institution, and you can happily have those two back. We’ll gladly send them back from America to you, but I’m not sure you guys want them anymore than we do. They feel isolated.”

He added: “But listen, you can always have bad actors in anything, spoiled apples in every orchard, but the institution of the Royal Family is beautiful and it’s something that a lot of Americans admire.”
