Most people have a story or two to tell after living as long as Elton John has and being famous for most of that time.

There are a lot of old heads in the unstable and unpredictable world of famous showbiz who are known to have a lot of secrets. Another thing that isn’t too crazy is that many of these discoveries do come to light at some point.

However, it is clear that there are different kinds of celebs. More specifically, there are stages in the game that separate people who are afraid to walk down a busy street for fear of being seen from people who are huge stars.

It’s safe to say that Elton John fits into the second group. That’s possibly why his autobiography, Me, got so much attention when it came out…

The famous singer made a lot of claims in Me. There were also a lot of retold stories and funny, shocking, or sad moments that were brought up again.

But it was what he said about Michael Jackson, the late “King of Pop,” that really got people talking online.

John talked about meeting Jackson when Jackson was still a little boy. He then talked about how the years had changed the “Thriller” star in many ways, none of them for the better.

He wrote, “I’d known Michael since he was 13 or 14.” “That kid was the cutest thing you can think of.” But sometime in the years that followed, he began to shut himself off from the world and from reality, just like Elvis Presley did.

Elton then said that he still thought Jackson’s change might have been mostly caused by his long-term use of prescription drugs.

He went on, “God knows what was going on in his head and God knows what prescription drugs he was being pumped full of, but every time I saw him in his later years I thought the poor guy had lost his marbles.”

The singer of “Your Song” said, “I don’t mean that in a funny way.” He was seriously mentally ill and a scary guy to be around.

Jackson was in the middle of a big media storm when he was accused of sexually abusing children. This is a dark cloud that has never really been taken off his name, even after all these years.

When asked about the reports, John just said, “He just couldn’t seem to handle being around adults at all.”

    John’s health
These days, John, who is 75 years old, has been having a lot of health problems.

Many of the dates on his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour had to be moved or rescheduled until 2023 so that he could get better.

Reports came out earlier this week saying that Elton had turned down an offer to appear at King Charles’ coronation concert. He is known for singing “Candle in the Wind” at Princess Diana’s funeral, but he won’t be at the event that officially recognizes her ex-husband as the new king of England.
