    • “I Never Thought I’d Be Back Here… Like This.” Jelly Roll’s voice trembled slightly as he stepped into the same jail where years ago he had lost himself — but this time, he carried no fear, no regret, only a mission. He brought 300 Thanksgiving meals and a heart wide open, walking through cold corridors that had once crushed him, handing plates and words of hope to every inmate he met. Eyes widened, heads lifted, and for a fleeting, fragile moment, the harsh steel bars felt softer. “You’re not forgotten… you’re never forgotten,” he whispered, meeting gaze after gaze, remembering all too well the loneliness and despair each man carried. Some broke down. Some held tears silently. Some just nodded, hearts quietly stirring. By the time he left, the heavy doors shut behind him, but the echo wasn’t the same — it carried warmth, second chances, and a reminder that even in the darkest places, humanity can shine.

Growing up, Celine Dion’s son René-Charles Angélil has changed a lot.

Online comments say he looks like his late father and older than he is.

He has a beard and balding.

Céline Dion married René Angélil for 21 years. After battling cancer, he died in January 2016. At their Las Vegas home, he died at 73.

He married five-time Grammy winner Celine Dion in December 1994. The couple had three kids. Dion has since discussed her health issues.

Celine Dion announced her rare neurological disease, Stiff Person Syndrome, in an emotional Instagram video dated December 2022. Her health forced her to cancel her European trip, which she regretted.

Due to the support of her three sons, René-Charles, Nelson, and Eddy, 13, Celine Dion has survived her illness and loss of her longtime hubby. Her oldest kid is René-Charles, born January 2001.

Since childhood, René-Charles Angélil has been photographed with his renowned mother, Celine Dion. His metamorphosis is dramatic from infant photo to young adult with beard.

    René-Charles, 6 Months

René-Charles was baptized in Montreal at six months old in July 2001. Photos of him and his parents leaving Notre-Dame Basilica captured the occasion.

Baby René-Charles had a round face, delicate, rosy cheeks, and bright, inquiring eyes. He had sparse light brown hair. His baptism dress was basic white with exquisite designs.

In the next photo, René-Charles, held by his renowned mother Dion, seemed curious and happy. Mother-son tenderness was well portrayed in the shot.

    Baby René-Charles, 15 Months

René-Charles saw his parents again in March 2002 during a family outing in New York City. His navy blue coat and matching hat kept him warm in the cold, making him look happy. His parents proudly supported him, showing their family solidarity.

    René-Charles, 20 Months

René-Charles had grown by September 2002, when he went out in Paris. At 20 months, his light brown hair was longer and framed his face. His features were maturing from his babyhood.

    Six-year-old René-Charles

René-Charles visited Disneyland with his mother in March 2007. Standing close to Celine Dion at the “Sleeping Beauty” castle, they looked happy and captured a childhood memory.

Celine Dion said, “I love being a mom—it relaxes me to read stories, do finger painting, and play with Play-Doh,” as a new mother. It may be hard to believe, but I live a normal life.”

    René-Charles, 7

René-Charles left the Four Seasons George V hotel with his parents in May 2008 for a family vacation in Paris. He held his mother’s hand with his long brown hair split on the side, looking joyful and excited.

    René-Charles, 17,

Dion and René-Charles celebrated his 17th birthday in January 2018. He looked polished and put-together in a light gray dress shirt and dark trousers, wearing spectacles. His mother, lovely in a yellow dress, smiled proudly alongside him.
