Ed Savitt and Heidi (previously Parker) felt they had discovered their ideal mate the moment they laid eyes on one another.
The pair fell in love after getting to know one another while attending an English college in 2011.
Soon after, they moved in together as their relationship grew more committed.

When Heidi and Ed graduated from Newcastle University in England, they had many reasons to be happy.
They had not only graduated, but they had also met and married their lifelong companion.
Mother discloses a coincidence
The parents of Ed and Heidi would finally get to meet their children’s true loves after four years of courting. After they went out to dinner together, Heidi’s mother Kay Parker shared a humorous coincidence.
During a summer vacation, Heidi had fell in love with a boy named Ed when she was just six years old. At the time, nobody gave the amusing fact much thought. However, Kay found something two weeks later that completely altered her life.
Heidi’s mother was going through her attic when she came upon an old picture of Heidi and the youngster Ed.
Although the youngster Ed was not recognized, the photo was taken during a family vacation in Turkey in 1997. The young child was instantly identified by Heidi’s mother as the same Ed that Heidi was with today!
“I was shocked to receive the first picture my mom sent me after she discovered it of us. Heidi said to The Independent, “I had to lie down.

After Ed requested his parents to search through their photo collection, they discovered five more images of Ed and Heidi together.
Ed and Heidi had been best friends and had spent most of their vacation holding hands. They can now hold hands indefinitely.
The pair wed earlier this summer at a stunning 12th-century English manor house.
Heidi finds it hard to believe that the two have been dating for such a long period, considering that this is their first encounter.
“It’s crazy to think we might not have known because we had been together for four years,” Heidi stated to The Independent.
“People are always telling us that it’s like a movie plot and that it must be fate!”
