Jennifer Lopez cancels summer tour ‘to be with her children, family’ amid divorce rumors

Jennifer Lopez has announced the cancellation of her highly anticipated greatest hits summer tour to prioritize spending time with her family. The 54-year-old singer and actress was set to begin her tour in late June, but instead, she has chosen to remain at home with her loved ones, as reported by TMZ.

The cancellation comes amid swirling rumors of marital discord with her husband, Ben Affleck. According to sources, Affleck feels “like a fool” amid these divorce rumors. However, Lopez’s decision to cancel the tour appears to be driven by a desire to focus on her family rather than any professional setbacks.

In a heartfelt message posted on her website, Lopez expressed her regret and sorrow to her fans.

“I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down. Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary,” she wrote. “I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. Until next time…”

There had been speculation about poor ticket sales contributing to the tour’s cancellation. However, a source clarified to the Daily Mail that these rumors were unfounded and had no bearing on Lopez’s decision.

“This was a very difficult decision made by Jennifer this week and she’s sorry to her fans,”

the source said.
Fans who purchased tickets through Ticketmaster will automatically receive refunds, while those who bought tickets through third-party sellers will need to contact the original point of purchase for their refunds.

Despite the disappointment, Lopez’s message indicates a strong commitment to her fans, promising future performances once circumstances allow. For now, her focus remains on her family and navigating the personal challenges she currently faces.
