    • “Father, I still hear your laughter in the wind, and I still see you in the softest of lights…” – from the darkness of loss, Craig Morgan sang like a call echoing through time. After “the SUDDEN death of his son Jerry” – he did not seek the noise of the stage but returned to faith, and from the deepest place in his broken heart, “The Father, My Son, and the Holy Ghost” was born. The first time Craig performed the song at the Grand Ole Opry, the whole audience fell silent and then burst into tears, including Ricky Skaggs – who came to hug him and said: “You must sing again, because THE WORLD NEEDS TO HEAR this.” And the most touching moment was when Blake Shelton – Craig’s “close friend” – suddenly walked to the center of the stage, holding Craig’s hand in silence. Two young souls, scared and shining, showing us what it means to feel something real. That performance didn’t just win hearts—it stayed in them.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ll have heard all about the ongoing marital troubles experienced by Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez. The pair delighted fans worldwide after reuniting nearly 20 years after their first engagement broke down, finally tying the knot in a Las Vegas ceremony two years ago.

Back in 2022, it seemed as though the pair had done the necessary growing and soul-searching during their years apart to make it work. Both had been married to other people, both had children, and both seemed over the moon to get a second shot with one another.

Fast forward to the present, though, and the picture doesn’t look half so rosy. In recent weeks, it’s been widely reported that Affleck and Lopez’s union is languishing in choppy waters. Though neither has delivered an official statement, there have been signs that things are far from harmonious.

Affleck has reportedly moved out of the couple’s shared $60 million Beverly Hills home and has been spotted without his wedding ring on more than one occasion. Lopez, meanwhile, has made numerous public appearances in recent weeks without her husband by her side. When one plucky reporter quizzed her on the state of her marriage, she coyly replied, “You know better than that.”

Just yesterday, Radar Online reported that Gone Girl star Affleck had “struggled with loneliness” since moving out of their home and “realized how much he misses Jen.” Yet today, it’s a different tune being sung by the outlet. They cite a source who spoke to InTouch Weekly, revealing that Ben “feels like such a fool” with things on the verge of falling apart.

“They reunited 20 years after they first broke up, only to see everything fall apart again,” the source, a friend of the couple, allegedly told InTouch Weekly. Of the friction between the pair, the insider continued: “She can’t control him, and he can’t change her.”

As mentioned earlier, the couple stunned fans when they began dating again in 2021, some 17 years after calling off their engagement. Just a year later, they tied the knot, but that now looks to have perhaps been a decision made in haste. “All this time, Ben’s friends and family have been asking him what he was thinking — and he doesn’t have a good answer. It’s like he was under a spell,” the InTouch Weekly source went on. “He made a huge mistake and feels like such a fool.”

The same insider also claimed that J-Lo was devastated by the breakdown of their romance. Even worse, she’s desperate to save face regarding a potential fourth failed marriage. “She’s desperate to save the relationship, not just because she still loves him, but she also wants to save face from having a fourth failed marriage,” the source explained. “Their final days and nights together were excruciatingly difficult. She begged Ben for a second chance, but he said no.”

With the couple’s relationship under intense public scrutiny, only time will tell whether Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez can navigate these troubled waters and find a way back to each other, or if this chapter in their storied romance will close for good.
