Tippi Hedren is still full of life and energy at the age of 94! Her daughter Melanie Griffith posted Instagram photos from the retired actress’s recent birthday celebration.
In one shot, Griffith’s mom is shown looking stunning with a vibrant pink lip color. In the other, she is seen laughing and having fun with a forkful of cake and colorful party glasses that read “CAKE TIME!”
Yesterday, Griffith’s mother, aka MorMor, turned 94 years old, as she announced in an Instagram post. Any time a celebration calls! 🎋 💫✨🗃🏼 “Happy Birthday, Tippi, my dear Mama.”
Tippi Hedren chatted with PEOPLE just before her 94th birthday, where she revealed her family’s celebration preparations. She made the comment that while it may not be noteworthy to the general public, it is ideal for her and her grandmother to celebrate.
Tippi Hedren is Melanie Griffith’s grandma; Melanie’s children—Jesse Johnson, Alexander Bauer, Dakota Johnson, and Stella Banderas—are the offspring of Tippi and Peter Griffith.
The mother-daughter pair has kept in close contact throughout the years. In 2016, Melanie Griffith presented her mom, Tippi, with the timeless beauty award, which she devoted to her.
To celebrate the release of Tippi Hedren’s memoir, “Tippi,” Melanie, Dakota Johnson, Tippi, and Dakota all got together in November 2016 for a chat. The three generations were mentioned by Melanie, who admired the beauty of life’s progression: Tippi, who was born in 1930, herself in the 1950s, and Dakota in the 1980s.
