The Hallway Between Us
For three years, my brother and I barely spoke.
There had been no single dramatic event that fully explained the distance.
Instead, the separation grew gradually.
Misunderstandings remained unresolved.
Pride filled the spaces where conversations should have happened.
Over time, silence became easier than vulnerability.
