Who is Melania Trump’s sister, Ines Knauss? Inside her close bond with secret sibling

The name Melania Trump is well-known throughout the world. It is not surprising that the public is curious about her personal life given that she is married to Donald Trump, the business tycoon and former president of the United States. However, she tends to avoid the spotlight, which also applies to her son Baron and her older sister Ines Knauss, who was close to the former First Lady.

The two sisters had a close relationship as children, and that hasn’t altered in the slightest today.
Although the sisters were raised in the tiny railway town of Sevnica, they were born in Novo Mesto, Slovenia. Melania and Ines were able to live comfortably thanks to their mother, Amalija, who was employed as a pattern-maker at a clothing factory, and their father, Viktor, who was a chauffeur and auto mechanic.

Melania Trump remarked, “I had a great childhood and grew up with a beautiful family.” “We learned the value of education, hard work, and family from our parents.”

Germany, Italy, and France were the destinations for Viktor and Amalija’s daughters’ vacations. Although they currently reside in the United States, they still own a house in Slovenia, which they visit frequently.

Because their mother spent hours creating and tailoring their wardrobe, the two sisters were always dressed to the nines. Later, Melania created the designs for the garments her mother made for her.

In 2016, Tomšič, who has managed a nearby hospital to which Melania donated $25,000 following her marriage to Donald Trump, told GQ, “She was very pretty.” “She was always so elegant.”

Fashion photographer Stane Jerko discovered Melania leaning on a fence as she was leaving a fashion show at the Festival Hall when she was sixteen years old.

“I saw this girl by the stairway at the entrance,” Jerko remembered. She had long hair and was tall and slender. I explained to her who I was, what I did, and why I was taking her picture.

In 1987, young Melania made the decision to leave the University of Ljubljana and pursue modeling instead. She signed a contract with a Milanese modeling agency in just a year.

After arriving in Milan, Melania went home after work rather than going out to parties, concentrating on her objective of becoming well-known.
She was a recluse who kept to herself. She went home, not out, after a photo shoot or catwalk. Jerko remarked, “She didn’t want to waste time partying.”

Ines, Melania’s sister, who also aspired to work as a designer in the fashion industry, went with her on this journey.

Ale de Basseville, a photographer based in Paris who captured Melania’s nude images for the French magazine, said of Ines to the New York Post, “She truly wanted to be in fashion but didn’t know how to break in.”

“The other girls there act like queens, but Ines wasn’t like that. She was very calm and courteous.

Melania’s sister accompanied her when she met well-known Italian businessman Paolo Zampolli, who assisted her in obtaining a work visa to the United States.

In 1998, during New York Fashion Week, Zampolli brought a friend, Donald Trump, to a Kit Kat Club event. That night, he was on a date, but he was instantly curious about Melania when he saw her.

Edit Molnar, one of Melania’s friends, talked about that evening and clarified that Donald had asked Melania for her number, but she refused to give it to him since he wasn’t by himself. “He is here with a woman,” Melania remarked. “I will never give him my number,” Molnar told the New York Post. She wouldn’t even entertain the idea. Donald completed all of the work.

Melania also talked about her first encounter with Donald Trump. She told Tatler, “He wanted my number.” Naturally, though, I didn’t give it to him because he was out on a date. I said, “Give me your number and I’ll call you; I’m not giving you mine.” I’ll be just another woman he calls if I give him my number.

The rest is history, and despite Melania’s desire to “hide” from the public, we still know a few things about her that Ines cannot.

Ines was her sister’s maid-of-honor at her wedding to Donald Trump, according to People.

According to reports, Ines is living in an apartment owned by Trump, in the same Upper East Side building where Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump lived prior to moving into their new residence. Her sister’s triplex penthouse at Trump Tower is only four blocks from her apartment.

In 2005, Ines met Palm Beach philanthropist Audrey Gruss at a Boys’ Club of New York fundraiser at Mar-a-Lago. The two sisters are very close, she said, adding that Ines struck her as “a lovely person, and extremely creative.”

It looks like Ines is an artist. Melania previously posted her sister’s illustrations on social media.

Fashion designer Luisa Beccaria, who lives in Milan, told The Post that Melania depended on her sister the most after Barron was born and that the two sisters are like best friends. He claimed that Melania had all the expert assistance she required at that time. “However, she trusted her sister.”
