As Her Vegas Era Ends, Carrie Underwood Claims the One-of-a-Kind Cadillac Throne That Made Fans Swoon

Carrie Underwood is nearing the end of her Reflection Las Vegas residency, a run that has lasted for three years. After announcing that the residency would officially come to an end in 2025, Underwood’s final performances are scheduled for April 9, 11, and 12, 2024.

Since its debut, the Reflection residency has been a life-changing experience for Underwood, marking a significant milestone in her career. She has performed 72 times for fans who have traveled from around the globe to see her in Las Vegas.

As the residency draws to a close, Underwood has decided to take home a special keepsake from the show—a custom-made throne that has become a signature part of her Vegas performances. The throne is used during her performance of Two Black Cadillacs and was built by her team using parts from an old Cadillac they found in a junkyard. Underwood shared with the audience that it’s one of her favorite parts of the show, and she plans to put it in her living room after the residency ends.

“We got this chair that I gotta brag on,” Underwood said. “The people that put this together, they literally went to a junkyard and found this super old Cadillac, chopped it up and made a throne for me to sit on.” She joked, “I think I’m gonna put it in my living room when we pack up. That’s normal, right? Just have my dog in my lap, crocheting on my throne. It’ll be awesome.”

The moment was shared on Instagram, and fans quickly flooded the comments with support for her fun idea to incorporate the throne into her home decor. Comments like, “Well, they did go through all that trouble to build it. It would be rude NOT to put it in your home,” and “You worked your butt off and performed a phenomenal show! Definitely need a super cool, one of a kind keepsake from this incredible Vegas era in the living room to memorialize forever!!” echoed the sentiment of excitement.

If Underwood does indeed bring the throne home, it will undoubtedly be a conversation starter. Some fans even joked that it could make its way into American Idol, with Underwood, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan all taking turns in the iconic chair—now that would make for some entertaining TV!
