That moment suddenly transformed into a post-divorce monologue, where Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban — though absent — were still placed under an invisible spotlight. We all like to imagine how we would behave in particular circumstances. However, putting those ideas into practice is a whole other matter.

When four teenagers from Canada saw something genuinely horrifying happen right in front of their eyes, they knew what to do. Arnaud Nimenya, Carsyn Wright, James Hielema, and Starlyn Rives-Perez were skateboarding in an underground parking lot on a typical night when they noticed something that immediately seemed odd.

They witnessed a well-dressed man and a fifteen-year-old girl, who seemed to be both intoxicated and upset, marching. The four chose to pay some attention to the situation rather than disregarding it and carrying on with their skating. As it turns out, they did a really terrific job.

Four Canadian teenagers might have easily ignored a man dragging a fifteen-year-old girl through an underground parking lot while intoxicated. It was much simpler when the man introduced himself as her “father’s friend.”

One of the teenagers, Carsyn Wright, clarified: “She was yelling and screaming.” All she wanted to do was leave. She was filthy and scratched up.

Consequently, the lads started questioning the father. They were unsure of how to react when he claimed to be her father’s friend and was only taking care of her. They questioned whether they should end it there since the girl herself didn’t oppose or complain.

“You really don’t want to imagine the worst of someone like them. Wright went on, “You just ignore it and hope for the best because you don’t want that situation to be real.”

Nevertheless, the skateboarders ultimately made the decision to look into it more. They chose to follow the man and the girl after first letting them exit the parking lot to check on her.

It turns out that they accomplished something of a miracle.

The girl was being sexually assaulted by the male, according to CBS.

“You freeze when you see something like that as soon as you come in. “You’re unsure of what to do,” Nimenya remarked.

The four guys immediately acted after the shock had passed. Three of the teenagers pursued the attacker as he attempted to leave the scene after realizing he had been discovered, while one remained to tend to the frightened victim.

Nimenya stated, “He was attempting to leave and walk away from us.” I got a smirk and thought, ‘I can do this,’ after he shoved me violently out of my way. There is nothing you can do about it.

The man was able to capture one of their skateboards and start attacking them with it when the three got up to him.

The boys tried to hit him several times, but they were able to keep him busy long enough for the cops to show up.

A man accused of sexual assault
As a result, the man was apprehended by the police and accused of sexual assault. They were worried about getting into problems, though, when they later attempted to get in touch with the girl’s rescuers.

According to Nimenya, “because we fought with him, we always thought we were going to be in trouble.” We refused to answer when they called.

Naturally, the police wanted to acknowledge their bravery and community service when they were finally able to get in touch.

At the Chief’s Awards Gala in Calgary, Canada, the four were duly honored. It’s wonderful to know that there are still heroes and that individuals will act on their intuition to stop horrible things from happening.
