Richard chose to fly for the first time ever to audition for AGT, inspired by their encouragement.

His initial timidity vanished on stage when he gave a performance that brought the judges and crowd to tears.

Howie Mandel conjectured that his students were probably applauding for him at home, Sofia Vergara commended the surprise and delight he brought to the show, and Simon Cowell dubbed him his idol.

Richard’s narrative serves as a tribute to the importance of self-belief and the transformation that occurs when skill and opportunity combine.

Richard Goodall, a fan favorite on America’s Got Talent, has arrived in Los Angeles in order to get ready for the highly anticipated semifinals next week, where he hopes to advance to the competition’s final.

On the August 14 quarterfinals episode, Goodall received America’s votes and advanced to the semifinals. He joins the following groups: drone group Sky Elements; dance group Airfootworks; singer Dee Dee Simon; 14-year-old singer Reid Wilson; comedian Learnmore Jonasi; dog act Roni Sagi & Rhythm; Hakuna Matata Acrobats; singer Alex Sampson; South Korean magician Young-Min; and aerialist Kelsey Jane.

On his Facebook page, Goodall has been updating his admirers on his professional life and his experience on America’s Got Talent. “When you get to work a little early and realize you have to actually get out of the car to start your day!” he said in a post six days ago about getting for school at the crack of dawn. It’s going to be quite wild.
