    Her 6 sons are bullied for their long hair, but then they cut it all off and everyone realizes why

    When you notice someone else is doing something that you think is strange or that you don’t approve of, ask yourself this question: is it hurting anybody else?

    Phoebe Kannisto, a mother of six boys in Cheektowaga, New York, faced criticism and bullying from both children and adults because all her sons had long hair. The boys, ranging from five-year-old triplets to a ten-year-old, grew their hair out for a special reason: to donate it to the nonprofit organization Children with Hair Loss. The family lost a close family friend to cancer, and the boys were deeply affected by the tragedy.

    Despite facing judgment and unkind words, the boys persevered in growing their hair, eventually donating a total of 17 feet of hair. The family’s inspiring story highlights the importance of understanding and respecting personal choices, as well as the positive impact that can result from empathy and compassion.

    Before you make fun of someone or bully them for something you don’t understand, take a minute to think about what you’re doing. If it doesn’t hurt anyone else, then it’s none of your business!
