A fresh season of The Masked Singer is officially here. After weeks of buildup, the hit guessing-game series returns on Wednesday, January 7, launching its 14th season. Since debuting in the U.S. in 2019, the show has continued to evolve, and this new installment promises plenty of surprises.
Season 14 premieres on January 7 at 8 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. CT. The two-hour premiere, along with all upcoming episodes, will air on FOX and stream the next day on Hulu. According to USA Today, the season finale is set for April 1, giving fans nearly three months of new episodes to enjoy.
This season leans heavily into themed nights inspired by pop culture favorites, including Twilight, Clueless, Star Trek, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. One standout episode will pay tribute to Ozzy Osbourne with an “Ozzfest”-themed celebration. His daughter, Kelly Osbourne, will also appear as a special guest. She previously competed on Season 2 as the Ladybug.
As always, the costumes are part of the fun. This season’s mystery celebrities will take the stage dressed as characters including a corgi, an eggplant, and a quirky creation known as “Pugcasso.”
The judging panel remains stacked with familiar faces: Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, Ken Jeong, Robin Thicke, and Rita Ora will once again try to crack the clues. Nick Cannon also returns as host for another season.
Country music fans are especially curious to see if the genre will be represented again this year. Past seasons have featured country stars such as LeAnn Rimes, Clint Black, Lisa Hartman Black, Hunter Hayes, and Brian Kelley.
Season 13 crowned Gretchen Wilson as the winner. Performing as Pearl, she became only the second country artist to take home the title, following LeAnn Rimes’ Season 4 win as The Sun.
With new themes, bold costumes, and plenty of mystery still to come, Season 14 of The Masked Singer looks ready to keep fans guessing all the way to the finale.
