Riley Green Trades The Stage For The Gym As He Prepares For An Unexpected Underw**r Modeling Gig.

If the music career ever slows down, it looks like Riley Green has a solid backup plan waiting for him.

Back in August, Riley officially stepped into the world of underwear modeling, teaming up with Gildan for a campaign that launched on National Underwear Day (yes, that’s apparently a real thing). The brand is known for everyday basics like T-shirts, socks, and underwear—and Riley became the unexpected face of all three.

He’s been honest about the experience, admitting it felt a bit awkward at first. That said, he made it clear he wasn’t standing around in his underwear all day.

“I wasn’t really in my underwear the whole time,” Riley joked. “They’ve got T-shirts, socks—other stuff to sell too.”

At 34, modeling underwear wasn’t exactly on his life plan, but he didn’t rule it out either. In fact, he laughed that he’s “for sale” if someone’s willing to pay him. Judging by the response, Gildan’s marketing team absolutely nailed this one.

The campaign didn’t stop with photos. A couple of commercial ads were filmed as well—and they’re just as attention-grabbing. In one longer spot, Riley gets a call from his “manager” telling him he landed the Gildan deal he wanted. He immediately hangs up, saying he’s got work to do to get in shape for the shoot.

Cue intense gym scenes and workout montages—only for him to later find out that he won’t actually need to take his shirt off for the photos. Don’t worry though, the workout shots make up for it.

Another ad shows Riley getting ready to head onstage before a show, casually sporting his Gildan underwear as part of the routine. Consider it a public service announcement.

Beyond modeling, Riley is also gearing up for a big musical moment. His sophomore studio album, Ain’t My Last Rodeo, is set to drop on October 13, and the full 12-song tracklist is now out.

Fans will recognize favorites like “They Don’t Make ’Em Like That No More” and “Ain’t Like I Can Hide It,” along with previously released singles “Mississippi Or Me” and “Different ’Round Here,” which features Luke Combs. The album also includes a Jelly Roll collaboration on “Copenhagen In A Cadillac” and a cover of Tim McGraw’s “Damn Country Music.”

Riley says this record feels like the truest representation of who he is—both musically and personally. He explained that growing up close to his grandparents had a major influence on his life, and that influence runs through the album.

“This is the first time I really got to slow down and make a cohesive record from start to finish,” he said. “I’m proud of it and grateful for the fans who’ve stuck with me.”

Since his major-label debut Different ’Round Here came out in 2019, fans have been patiently waiting for new music. With a new album on the way—and a surprise modeling side quest—it’s safe to say Riley Green is having a pretty strong moment.

Music career, underwear campaigns… either way, he seems to be doing just fine.
