Audrey McGraw Brings Shelby to Life in Landman

Audrey McGraw appears in the hit Landman as Shelby, a teenage neighbor of Tommy Norris, played by Billy Bob Thornton. Shelby quickly strikes up a friendship with Tommy’s daughter Ainsley, portrayed by Michelle Randolph.

Audrey makes her first appearance in Season 1, Episode 5, “Where Is Home,” where Shelby is introduced chatting with Ainsley poolside. As the season unfolds, the two are seen spending more time together, including attending parties out at the oil patch.

According to IMDb, Audrey has appeared in four episodes of Landman so far, with her most recent appearance coming in Season 2, Episode 5, titled “The Pirate Dinner.”

    Her First Acting Role

Landman marks Audrey McGraw’s acting debut. The series follows in the footsteps of her parents, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, who previously starred in 1883, also created by Taylor Sheridan.

Alongside Thornton, the cast includes Oscar nominees Demi Moore, Andy Garcia, and Sam Elliott, as well as Ali Larter. Additional cast members include Jacob Lofland, Paulina Chávez, Kayla Wallace, Mark Collie, James Jordan, and Colm Feore.

The Taylor Sheridan–created series continues to smash records. Paramount+ recently revealed that the Season 2 premiere pulled in more than 9.2 million streaming views within its first two days following its November 16 debut—an increase of 262% over the Season 1 premiere. The show has since been officially renewed for a third season.

At this point, it hasn’t been confirmed whether Audrey McGraw will return as Shelby in future episodes.

Audrey McGraw Is Making Waves in Music Too

Off screen, Audrey is gaining attention for her music career as well. She recently joined her father onstage at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace during his Las Vegas residency, where she delivered a show-stopping cover of Heart’s Barracuda. A fan-recorded video quickly went viral, with many comparing her commanding vocals to her mother, Faith Hill.

Sitting in the audience, his wife Bunnie XO watched, overwhelmed, as he confessed through a trembling voice: “I was wrong… and this is how I tell the truth, in front of everyone.” The arena fell completely silent, broken only by her soft sobs, making the crowd collectively hold its breath. Co-star Keith Urban stepped forward, placing a hand on Jelly Roll’s shoulder in a rare display of solidarity, amplifying the emotional weight of the confession. Cameras captured every second, and social media erupted as millions of fans reacted, calling it “the performance that froze time”. What unfolded wasn’t just music — it was a raw, unfiltered moment of vulnerability and accountability, a public atonement delivered through song. Witnesses say the scene was so moving that it redefined what a live performance could be, turning the CMA stage into a place of truth, love, and redemption.
