Watch Kelly Clarkson Deliver a Holiday Favorite

Kelly Clarkson brought pure Christmas magic with a breathtaking performance of the holiday classic Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.

She shared the rendition during an episode of her daytime talk show as part of her beloved Kellyoke segment, where she regularly puts her own spin on songs from every genre imaginable. The performance quickly captured attention, reminding fans why her voice remains one of the most celebrated in music.

Clarkson has long embraced the holiday season musically. Over the years, she’s released two Christmas albums of her own—Wrapped in Red in 2013 and When Christmas Comes Around in 2021—both packed with timeless covers and original festive songs she wrote herself.

She also added to her holiday catalog with a brand-new original track, You for Christmas, released in September 2024.

Beyond recording, Clarkson has become a familiar face during the holidays on television. She returned for a second consecutive year as host of NBC’s Christmas in Rockefeller Center, where a star-studded lineup—including Jennifer Hudson, Little Big Town, Backstreet Boys, and Dan + Shay—took the stage. Clarkson also stepped out of her hosting role to perform her new holiday song alongside her festive favorite “Underneath the Tree.”

She later returned to The Voice stage as well, performing “You for Christmas” during the Season 26 finale.

As for her Kellyoke performance of “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” viewers were blown away by how effortlessly Clarkson delivered the emotional ballad live—powerful yet restrained, familiar yet unmistakably her own.

“Just casually being the best singer on the planet every single day,” one fan wrote.

“I don’t think there’s another artist who can sing notes like this with so much ease and still keep it tasteful and subtle,” another commented. “Kelly Clarkson is a legend—end of story.”

A third fan summed it up simply: “I’ve run out of words for how much joy her voice brings me. Thank you, Kelly.”

Once again, Kelly Clarkson proved that when it comes to holiday music, her voice feels like a gift all its own.
