Jelly Roll Earns Three Grammy Nominations Ahead of the 2026 Ceremony

In early November, the Recording Academy unveiled its nominees for the 2026 Grammy Awards, set for February 1, 2026. This year includes a brand-new category — Best Traditional Country Album — bringing the total country-specific categories to five.

A wide slate of country stars made the list, including Lainey Wilson, Willie Nelson, Zach Top, Chris Stapleton, and others. Among them was Jelly Roll, who secured three major nominations:

Best Country Duo/Group Performance – “Amen” with Shaboozey

Best Contemporary Country Album – Beautifully Broken

Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song – “Hard Fought Hallelujah” with Brandon Lake

Jelly Roll Shares Emotional, Raw Reaction to the News

In a new video — featuring his freshly shaved face — Jelly Roll opened up about the moment he learned of the nominations. He said the news ranks as “one of the craziest things that has ever happened” in his life.

He recalled attending the Grammys for the first time in 2024:

“I remember thinking, ‘This is the only time I’ll ever be at the Grammys.’”

Yet he returned in 2025 with two more nominations… and now, in 2026, he’s a triple nominee again.

Jelly Roll didn’t hide how deeply this moment hit him:

“I don’t care what any artist says — every single one of us grew up watching the Grammys, going back to our rooms afterward, and practicing our speech.”

Reflecting on Faith, Transformation, and the Meaning Behind the Music

The Tennessee native credited his nominations to something greater than achievement or luck:

“When I look at these nominations, all I see is God.”

He spoke about feeling restored, grounded, and in the best emotional space he’s ever been in. He also shared how meaningful it was to see Beautifully Broken listed alongside albums by Tyler Childers, Kelsea Ballerini, Eric Church, and Miranda Lambert.

He emphasized that for him, the nomination is not just about the music:

“It’s not about the album or the nom — it’s about the name. Beautifully Broken. If that doesn’t represent what’s happening in the world right now… I think more than ever, we can find beauty in what’s happening.”

Fighting back tears, he closed by saying he felt honored, humbled, and “extremely grateful” to even be recognized by the Recording Academy.
