Brandon Lake Responds to Heart Patient’s Viral Plea for Concert Tickets

Brandon Lake’s worship music continues to inspire millions across the world—and for one woman, it became a lifeline. A viral social media video posted by Alexandria Cheplak, a heart patient from Nevada, moved thousands to action as she shared her dream of seeing the Grammy Award-winning Christian artist perform live.

A Message from a Hospital Bed

In her emotional video, filmed from her hospital bed, Cheplak detailed a year-long health battle that has included more than 30 heart surgeries, 40 nights in the hospital, and countless setbacks. Despite it all, she said one thing kept her going: worship music, and especially the songs of Brandon Lake.

“Every time I’ve gone down for a scan, every time the surgeon was about to start a heart surgery, we have them blast my favorite worship music,” she said. “My faith has just really kept me going through this.”

Cheplak explained that she wanted to attend Lake’s sold-out Nevada show on November 14, but since tickets were unavailable, she turned to social media for help. Her heartfelt plea encouraged viewers to tag the singer and help make her dream come true.

Fans and Celebrities Rally Behind Her

Within hours, the video went viral—amassing over 1,100 tags and thousands of supportive comments from fans and fellow believers.

    Messages of encouragement poured in:

“@brandonlake you are looking at your most beautiful fan 🙌❤️”

“@brandonlake please hear and see this, let’s send some joy and Jesus to this wonderful lady 🤍”

“She walks through challenges with such grace and positivity,” another user wrote.

Even actor Taylor Lautner joined the effort, writing:

“@brandonlake Lexi is a beautiful human inside and out, just like you. Love you 🙏”

    Brandon Lake Answers the Call

It didn’t take long for the message to reach Lake himself. Just twelve hours later, he responded directly in the comments:

“I gotchu Lexi!! Shooting you a DM and we’ll make sure you all get tickets and hosted for the best night!!!”

His compassionate reply instantly lifted spirits online, turning the viral post into a moment of community and faith in action.

    Faith Through the Fight

In an interview with Country Now, Cheplak shared that the past 11 months have been the hardest of her life. She revealed that her most recent surgery left her “on life support, bleeding out, and on a ventilator for a week.”

Throughout it all, one song has carried her through—“Hard Fought Hallelujah,” Brandon Lake’s collaboration with Jelly Roll.

“Witnessing these songs live will be so healing and special for me,” she said. “Especially the line, ‘my head, heart, and hands are feeling heavy—that’s when I lift them just a little higher.’”

    A Continuing Journey of Hope

In a recent update, Cheplak shared that she has finally been discharged from the hospital, though she will remain on home oxygen.

    Her faith, however, remains unwavering:

“Thank you Jesus. This heart warrior won’t stop fighting until I stop breathing.”

What began as a desperate wish turned into a powerful testimony of resilience, faith, and the unifying spirit of music—a reminder that even in life’s hardest battles, worship can still bring healing and hope.
