Brad Paisley’s Spine-Tingling Star-Spangled Banner Opens Game 3 as Five AT-6 Planes Soar Over Los Angeles and the Crowd Erupts

The 2025 World Series Is Off To A Thrilling Start

Baseball fans around the world are glued to their screens as the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Toronto Blue Jays battle it out for the championship title in the 2025 World Series. The showdown has already delivered intense action, big moments, and plenty of star power — both on and off the field.

    Early Games Set the Stage

Game 1 took place at Rogers Centre in Toronto on Friday, October 24, where the Blue Jays made a strong statement by defeating the Dodgers 11–4. The Dodgers, however, bounced back quickly in Game 2 on Saturday, October 25, winning 5–1 to even the series.

Both teams then traveled to Los Angeles for Game 3, scheduled for Monday, October 27, marking the beginning of a crucial stretch in the Best-of-Seven series.

Pitching fans are in for a treat as Tyler Glasnow is set to start on the mound for the Dodgers, while Max Scherzer will take the hill for the Blue Jays — a high-stakes duel between two elite arms.

Brad Paisley Opens Game 3 with the U.S. National Anthem

Adding to the excitement, country music superstar Brad Paisley kicked off Game 3 with a stirring performance of “The Star-Spangled Banner” at Dodger Stadium.

A lifelong Dodgers fan, Paisley has become something of a good-luck charm for the team, having performed the anthem at previous World Series games — including before Game 1 of the 2024 World Series, which the Dodgers went on to win.

This year, MLB paired Paisley’s performance with Canadian singer-songwriter JP Saxe, who sang the Canadian National Anthem in honor of the Toronto Blue Jays.

According to MLB, the pregame ceremony featured five North American AT-6 planes from the Condor Squadron soaring above the stadium during Paisley’s anthem, as a giant American flag was unfurled across center field — a breathtaking sight that stirred patriotic pride across the crowd.

A Classic Performance and a Roaring Crowd

As Paisley stepped up to the mic with his guitar in hand, he delivered a traditional, heartfelt rendition of the anthem that resonated with fans and players alike. The performance was met with loud cheers and a standing ovation.

Social media quickly lit up with praise:

“Paisley crushed it!!! Time to PLAY BALL!” one fan wrote.
    Another added, “What an anthem!”

Paisley’s mix of humility, skill, and emotion once again proved why he remains a fan favorite at major national events.

    What’s Next

With the series tied 1–1 and the action shifting to Los Angeles, the 2025 World Series is shaping up to be one of the most thrilling in recent memory. As the Blue Jays and Dodgers prepare for Game 3, both teams are locked in, fans are fired up, and the stage is perfectly set for more unforgettable baseball moments.
