Cole Swindell Pens Tribute Song for Charlie Kirk

Country artist Cole Swindell has written a new song — titled “Make Heaven Crowded” — inspired by the late conservative activist Charlie Kirk, who was killed on September 10. Swindell says this may be the most important song he’s ever written, and that if it helps just one person, the effort will have been worth it.

    From Teaser to Full Release

After Swindell teased the track on social media, fans pushed to hear the full version, which he released on September 26. He credited his faith platform and expressed that the response to the song — including chart success across all genres — felt bigger than any musical milestone he’s been part of.

A Televised Performance on a Meaningful Day

On October 14 — which would have been Kirk’s 32nd birthday — Swindell performed “Make Heaven Crowded” on the morning show Fox & Friends. He said he was honored to mark the date with such a meaningful performance.
