She argued that power, fame, and money allow men like Bryan to act without consequence, and that this dynamic explains why LaPaglia hesitated to share more evidence:

“These guys in power think they can do whatever they want, they never get told no… From personal experience, it takes you getting away from the situation to realize how horrendous it was and to realize your worth again.”
