The NDA also required her to deflect criticism of Bryan, though his team acknowledged she couldn’t control what Dave Portnoy or Josh Richards said about the situation on their platforms.
LaPaglia concluded her posts by calling his fans “brain dead” and doubling down that she has “not told ONE lie ever.” While she insisted she wants nothing to do with Bryan, she made it clear she won’t let his actions go unchallenged.
Sophia Sansone Enters the Conversation
Adding another twist, Sophia Sansone, Riley Green’s ex-girlfriend and a respected music industry executive, publicly weighed in. Sansone, who dated Green in 2022 and made red carpet appearances with him at both the CMT and CMA Awards, shared her perspective on TikTok.
What began as a casual video about a microneedling treatment quickly shifted into a passionate commentary on the Bryan–LaPaglia saga.
Sansone said she believed LaPaglia was clearly in an “abusive” dynamic — whether emotional or mental — and defended the vulnerability behind Brianna’s old text messages:
“If you haven’t been in an abusive relationship physically, mentally, emotionally, whatever it is — which she was definitely in some form of that — you don’t understand how attached you are. And confused… She sent that in her most vulnerable state.”
Sansone drew parallels to high-profile cases like Cassie’s abuse allegations against Sean “Diddy” Combs, noting how victims often face backlash when they speak out. She argued that power, fame, and money allow men like Bryan to act without consequence, and that this dynamic explains why LaPaglia hesitated to share more evidence:
“These guys in power think they can do whatever they want, they never get told no… From personal experience, it takes you getting away from the situation to realize how horrendous it was and to realize your worth again.”
Her message was clear: LaPaglia should feel empowered to expose what she endured.
